Smoking is not hot, but having a lighter has proven to be an essential. Whether it’s to light a candle, burn a loose thread, or burn some incense, having a chic little lighter just ads some whimsy to life. Pick up a cheap BIC lighter at the gas station and make it feel extra special by getting a custom case like this one
Still have some extra coin burning a hole in your pocket? Pick up some incense from Astier e Villatte. Delhi is a personal favorite.
Are you in a long-term partnership (because if not, you’ve spent enough, so turn back)? Want to drop some serious money on something special? Add in a chic incense holder like this one. Once they unwrap their gift, light one and then get lost in the scent of your incense and your partner. Sometimes the best gift doesn’t cost a thing.
Is bae a bookworm? Do people even say bae anymore? I’m embarrassing myself. Regardless, a book, especially one with a sweet dedication at the beginning, is a timeless gift. Check out one of our favorites.
Want to keep the theme going? Add in a little bookmark, so she, unlike you, can always find her spot.
is it a special occasion? Are they an October baby? Maybe they just like chic little rings and you’ve got some deep pockets. I’m in love with these charming little rings from George Rings. If they weren’t born in October, they have others, but this pink tourmaline really is special, so maybe they can make an exception. Ethically sourced gemstones? Duh. Made in the USA? Why not!
Is this a newer flame? Maybe it’s been burning strong for years now. Want to get to know each other on a deeper level? We love this game from We’re Not Really Strangers.
Cook something out of this fun little book and then wrap it up so they can take care of dinner next week.
Maybe they aren’t a ring person. Okay. How about the most beautiful pair of earrings we’ve come across in a while. I know it’s more special and not specialer, but I mean, have you seen these earrings. Just add to cart and don’t check the price. After all, money is a made up concept, and you can’t take it with you when you’re dead. Bury me in these earrings, because paper is itchy and it doesn’t match my outfit.
I’ve loved this candle and the brand from the first time we met at a cute little stationary store in Dallas called Read Between The Lines. My boyfriend took me there during our first trip together, and I think I spent basically all the money I had at the time on a little candle I liked they carried from a small brand called Boy Smells. Who would have known that 8 years later, they’d have grown into this, and my boyfriend would become my husband? Guess that’s what happens when you light up kush (pairs well with lighters and true love, but don’t ask me how I know)
I’m shameless. I love to smell good. And I don’t care if this is basic or gauche or overhyped. I wear this fragrance all the time, because it goes with every outfit, even occasion, and when I wear it, I feel special and sophisticated. And it smells fucking good. There’s nothing quite like the original.
Buuuuuut…I have tried this one, and while it’s not quite the same, it’s beautiful and I wear it just as often. And it’s like 1% of the price. There’s no wrong answer .
